Cookie & Storage Policy

WordNest does not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels or cross-site trackers. This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage technologies we use, what they do, how long they last, and whether you need to give consent.
Cookies and browser storage we use
All storage below is either strictly necessary to run the Service or activated only after you explicitly opt in. We do not sell storage data or use it for profiling or advertising.

What we do not use
WordNest does not install any of the following in your browser:
- Advertising or targeting cookies;
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel or similar analytics trackers;
- Social-media share buttons that load third-party scripts;
- Cross-site tracking pixels or fingerprinting scripts.
AI features and audio
AI example sentences, AI Diary corrections and text-to-speech audio are generated only when you press the relevant button. The text you submit is sent to external AI providers through the Lovable AI Gateway for processing, but it is not stored in your browser as a cookie. Generated audio is cached on our server under a hash of the text and does not identify you.
Product analytics
We collect first-party product analytics events in our own database for signed-in users. These events are tied to your user ID and help us understand which learning features work best. Analytics is not implemented through browser cookies or third-party trackers; data is stored on our servers and deleted together with your account.
How to manage or clear this data
You can clear localStorage, sessionStorage and the service worker cache at any time through your browser settings. Signing out removes your authentication tokens. Disabling push notifications removes your browser subscription and deletes the stored endpoint from our servers.
Changes to this policy
If we add any new storage technology that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page and request consent where required by law before activating it.
